Various organizations, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), are offering a reward of up to $28,000 for information leading to arrests in the Baltimore mass shooting that left two dead and 28 wounded.
As reported by the news portal Fox News, the Metro Crime Stoppers agency is offering $8,000 for tips that lead to an arrest and criminal charges.
The ATF (Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Bureau), an agency of the US Department of Justice, for its part, offered a $10,000 reward for the same information.
Finally, the FBI reported that it is offering, in turn, a $10,000 reward for tips that lead to the arrest of suspects linked to the mass shooting.
In total, the reward adds up to $28,000.
Information reported by Fox News indicates that the victims of the Baltimore shooting were identified as 20-year-old Kylis Fagbemi and 18-year-old Aaliyah Gonzalez.
Both were shot to death in a shooting that occurred at 12:30 AM this Sunday in the 800 block of Gretna Court.
While González was pronounced deceased at the crime scene, Fagbemi died at the hospital.
In addition, 28 people were injured in the shooting, and more than a dozen of the victims were minors, according to Fox News.
Baltimore Police Commissioner Richard Worley said the shooting occurred at a party in the southern part of the city. People at the scene had gathered in the Brooklyn Homes neighborhood to celebrate the so-called “Brooklyn Day.”
According to Fox News, between 20 and 30 shots were fired during the event.
Brandon Scott, mayor of Baltimore, assured from the scene that: “To the people responsible, I want you to know that we will not rest until we find you. And we will find them. Until then, I hope that with every breath you take, you think about the lives you took, as well as the lives you affected tonight.”
