The Brazilian attacker Roberto Firmino finalized his incorporation into Al-Ahli of Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, as indicated by the club through its social networks.
The international arrives in Saudi Arabia after having played his last eight seasons with English Liverpool.
Defending the shirt of “Los Reds” Robeto Firmino managed to score a total of 111 goals in 362 games played.
The contract that the Brazilian had with Liverpool ended at the end of last season, after the team did not renew the relationship.
At 31, Firmino will begin a new stage of his professional career in the millionaire and emerging Saudi league, which counts among its new players Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kanté, Marcelo Brozovic and Édouard Mendy.
A Brazilian international on 55 occasions, with 17 goals, he has been one of the benchmark scorers throughout this time at Liverpool, which he joined in the summer of 2015 from Hoffenheim for $41 million dollars.
Roberto Firmino played for the German team from the 2010-11 to 2014-15 season, with 49 goals in 154 games.
Al Ahli also signed goalkeeper Edouard Mendy from Chelsea last Sunday.
