The former coach of the Spanish team, Luis Enrique, will be presented this Wednesday as the new technical director of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

The team announced a press conference at their new training center, located in Poissy, just outside Paris.

Club sources told EFE that the new strategist will be presented at the press conference, who will replace Christophe Galtier, whose contract expires in the next few hours.

The French newspaper L’Équipe affirmed that Luis Enrique will meet with the president of the Parisian team, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, and both will be at the presentation.

The strategist, who also directed Celta, Roma and Barcelona, will begin his duties almost immediately, taking into account that PSG begins their training sessions next Monday.

The French champion had reached an agreement with Luis Enrique several days ago, but he was waiting to resolve Galtier’s departure and also define the coaching staff that will work with the Spanish coach.

So far it is unknown how long the contract that Luis Enrique agreed with PSG would be and the amount he will charge.

Through their social networks, the Parisian team invited the community to attend this Wednesday’s conference in person: “PSG invites you to follow the first press conference of the 2023-2024 season live on its official platforms.”
