old-iphone-models-could-be-worth-up-to-$100,000

A first-generation iPhone, currently up for auction, is expected to sell for a whopping $100,000. This is because only a few specific models of this iPhone were distributed, since its production was suspended only a few months after its release.

The first iPhone went on sale in the United States on June 29, 2007. There were two versions available: a 4GB version that was priced at $499 and an 8GB version that was priced at $599 at the time.

Today, the 4 GB iPhone is considered very valuable because it was available in the market for a short time. Apple decided to stop manufacturing it shortly after its release, opting to focus solely on the 8 GB models.

In the year 2018, Apple released a new iPhone model with a capacity of 16 GB at a price of $499 USD. This caused customers to quickly forget about the 4 GB iPhone.

Therefore, the 4 GB iPhone has become very popular and coveted due to its rarity, as reported in The Sun US

Auction house LCG Auctions is auctioning off the original unopened 4GB iPhone, and the starting bid price is $10,000.

LCG Auctions estimates that the iPhone will sell for between $50,000 and $100,000.

The auction began on Friday June 30 and will run until July 16.

What makes this 4GB iPhone even more valuable is that it is in its original box with the original plastic wrap still on.

The person who wins the 4GB iPhone auction will most likely keep it in its original packaging, as that is what makes it so valuable.
