The company Kaplan Strategies recently published the results of a national poll that showed, once again, that former President Donald Trump is the presidential candidate with the most support among Republican voters. The real surprise, though, was who was behind Trump: a seat that had usually gone to Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, only… Until now, who must share second place with Vivek Ramaswamy.

Who is Vive Ramaswamy? A 37-year-old businessman whose campaign is to “Revive American Identity” and who has been dubbed by the media as an extremely wealthy “anti-woke” candidate. For example, a button: his fortune is approximately $630 million, from financial and biotechnology businesses, according to Forbes magazine.

Born on August 9, 1985 in Cincinnati, Ohio, Ramaswamy is the father of two children and does not seem to have much experience in politics, which is why he is considered a “rookie” on the American political scene. In fact, he is not what you would call a “profession politician”, since he has not held positions as a public servant.

Vivek, in addition to an entrepreneur, is also the author of a best-seller according to The New York Times: Woke, Inc.: Inside Corporate America’s Social Justice Scam, as well as other books (such as Nation of Victims: Identity Politics, The Death of Merith and the Path Back to Excellence and Capitalist Punishment: How Wall Street is using Untry you didn’t vote for).

According to the Kaplan Strategies poll, both Ramaswamy and DeSantis have 12% support respectively from Republican voters, making them the second strongest option in the GOP behind former President Trump.

After DeSantis and Ramaswamy are other candidates such as Senator Tim Scott, Chris Christie, Nikki Haley and Will Hurd. None of them reach support figures of more than 2 digits.

Will Ramaswamy become the second Trump? They bear a considerable resemblance: Trump had no experience in politics or the US military before he became president.
