Club León of the Liga MX lives a particular setback on its trip to Los Angeles, to face the next match of the Leagues Cup against LA Galaxy.

After the dramatic victory in an extended penalty shootout against the Whitecaps, the Mexican team has had to face a serious problem in the city of Vancouver, Canada.

It turns out that the feline group was stranded at the airport, and through social networks the photos and videos of the players lying on the floor of the airport have gone viral, while their flight to California is being arranged.

According to TUDN reporter Israel Romo, the flight scheduled for Sunday was canceled due to various weather issues in Vancouver.

A flight had been scheduled for Monday, but it was also canceled due to the same situation, so at the moment it is not known when they will be able to fly from Canada to the west coast of the United States.

The León goalkeeper, Rodolfo Cota, was quite annoyed by the situation and complained to the organizers of the Leagues Cup for the delay they are experiencing at the airport.

“A little more seriousness in the logistics of the trips. Yesterday our flight was canceled and today we have no response here at the airport. Of course, tomorrow the show must continue, right?” Said the goalkeeper on Twitter.

For León to claim the victory against the Vancouver Whitecaps, they had to take more than 35 penalties, after the game ended with a two-way tie.

The problem with this whole situation is that this Tuesday León has scheduled his second and last match of the group stage against LA Galaxy of the MLS.

For this match they will not only have to face the fatigue accumulated by the delay of the trip, but they must also deal with the absence of their scorer Víctor Dávila.
