The director of the Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD), Freddy Ramírez, is in critical but stable condition after a shooting that occurred during an argument with his wife.
The incident occurred on the side of the I-75 freeway in Tampa, Florida. While authorities investigate the matter, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) confirmed to Tampa Bay 10 that the incident is being treated as an “accident.”
