“Contigo Regreso a Clases”, an annual initiative to help hundreds of families prepare for the new school year, will take place at the Queens Museum, located in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, Building, Queens, on August 24 and 25 at starting at 5 p.m.

Univision 41 New York partnered with the Queens Museum and other city agencies to kick off the back-to-school season by offering expert panel sessions, talks with critical information to get kids back to school. In addition, during the day, more than 2,500 backpacks full of school supplies and various electronics, such as tablets and laptops, will be given to needy families.

“There is nothing more important than ensuring our children have access to the resources that will help them thrive in school,” New York City Mayor Eric Adams said in a statement. “By equipping our children with the tools they need to learn and grow when they return to school, we are giving them a better chance to succeed in life”

For his part, Roberto Yáñez, Northeast Regional Manager/President & General Manager, Univision New York, expressed in the same press release: “Hosting our highly anticipated fifth annual event ‘Contigo Regreso a Clases’ is one of our highlights. of community impact of the year”.

“Queens Museum is pleased to participate in ‘Contigo Regreso a Clases’ together with Univision NY, and we are very excited to welcome them back to our community,” added Gianina Enríquez, Community Organizer of Queens Museum.
