The divorce of Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez is already a fact. After eight years of a heated legal battle, the couple reached an agreement. The actress must pay her ex-husband a sum of $8,000 dollars a month, in addition to 4.3 percent of the earnings she generates in her acting career, as long as they exceed $2 million dollars. Likewise, Berry must pay for the private school and the health insurance of the son they have in common, Maceo, in addition to the extracurricular activities that the little one attends.
On the other hand, the TMZ portal reported that the actors agreed on a point that was the subject of strong dispute: the legal custody of their son, which will now be shared. Halle Berry will be with the child from Monday to Wednesday and the actor from Wednesday to Friday. As for the weekends, the parents will take turns being with the nine-year-old who will have to attend “individual and family therapy sessions,” according to data reported by the US portal.
The actress will also contribute “voluntarily” to the payment of Martinez’s attorneys’ fees, totaling $55,000. According to her, Berry has a net worth of $90 million, and her partner’s is $30. So far, the legal representatives of the actors have not ruled on the brand new agreement.
