“Minas de Pasión” is the telenovela that Univision will premiere on August 29, at 10PM/9C. This story stars Livia Brito and Osvaldo de León, produced by Pedro Ortiz de Pinedo.
What do we know about this soap opera prior to its opening night? The story as such, in essence, was previously seen in the United States under the name “La Patrona”, through Telemundo in 2013. It was starred by Aracely Arámbula and Jorge Luis Pila, along with Christian Bach and Gonzalo Garcia Vivanco. However, in this new version told by TelevisaUnivision we will be presented with a version in which we wanted to delve into the essence of each of the characters, which is why we will find ourselves at the mercy of a more dramatic production.
The telenovela produced by Pedro Ortiz de Pinedo presents us with the life of Valentina Párraga, who in turn narrates the life of Emilia Sánchez. A dynamic that we will understand once we immerse ourselves in the story. Which is why, for now, we will tell you who Emilia, our heroine, is then. She is a seasoned single mother, who works in a mine, a world dominated mainly by men, where she meets Leonardo Santamaría, the son of Roberta Castro, the boss who is also the most powerful woman in town.
As expected our protagonists, Emilia and Leonardo, fall in love. This unleashes the fury of Roberta, a character who has a lot to hide and whose information, by chance, came into Emilia’s hands. Our protagonist has discovered her mismanagement and only for this reason the mother of her great love will seek revenge on her by making her life truly miserable.
This telenovela is definitely dramatic, where without a doubt we will hope that love will triumph, but where we will see that to reach that long-awaited end many things will have to be done, many truths will be revealed, many secrets will come to light and many tears will be spilled.
This story is like life itself, where tragedies become comedies, because sometimes to get ahead you have to laugh as much as you have to cry to be happy, since only then do we recover from losses, from life and from death…
Together with Livia Brito and Osvaldo de León, “Minas de Pasión” is decorated to present its great cast, which includes the participation of: Anette Michel, Alejandro Camacho, Cynthia Klitbo, César Évora, Karyme Lozano, Omar Germenos, Sylvia Sáenz , Mayra Rojas, Rodrigo Murray, Alma Cero, Carlos Gatica, Rodrigo Brand, Lizy Martínez, Valeria Burgos, Arianna Valh, Lukas Urkijo, Edward Castillo, among others.
Another good news behind this story is in the participation of Christian Nodal. The young singer will not be playing any character, but his voice is behind the official song of this drama. TelevisaUnivision confirms that the song “Qué tal” from “Minas de pasión” is the author of the regional Mexican music singer.
