Cinthia Velarde, who in the past was Alejandra Guzmán’s manager, went to Instagram to denounce that during the first week of August her house in Álvaro Obregón, Mexico City, was robbed by eight men.
Velarde decides to speak publicly about what happened at this time because the modus operandi was the same with which Miguel Bosé was robbed last week, before telling all his followers he had already filed a complaint with the prosecutor’s office. This suggests that there is a gang in Mexico City robbing large houses.
“Good afternoon friends and all those who may have empathy in this type of situation that we are sadly experiencing directly or indirectly, specifically in the Álvaro Obregón delegation where I live with my family,” Velarde wrote.
Guzmán’s ex-manager accompanies her testimony with a couple of photos captured by the property’s security camera, so it can be seen that the men entered the place on all fours and dressed completely in black.
In the same publication, he explains that he talks about the assault because of the similarities it has with that of Bosé, “I share that in this month of August, I was a victim of the same crime, with the same modus operandi, more than 8 people entered my house heavily armed, feigning guns and threatening to kill the people who were inside, taking all the belongings that were of value, with such impunity that they remained inside my home for more than an hour, time that I verified in my statement before the prosecution.”
He says that the prosecution already has all the evidence, which is mainly videos obtained by the security cameras of his house and his neighbors. “In order to try to avoid subsequent victims as unfortunately happened to Mr. Bose, which I reiterate was the same way in the same Álvaro Obregón delegation,” Velarde said.
