The actress and model Ashley Benson has just opened the doors of her house for the specialized magazine ‘Architectural Digest’. The property is located in Los Feliz, California, and its recent remodeling has undoubtedly caught the attention of many interior design specialists.
Benson confesses that when he first saw the property he did not fall in love, although he could understand that the place had great potential.
What did immediately catch his attention was the façade, as it reminded him of Europe. It should be noted that this mansion was originally built in the 1930s and the architect Arthur Kelly was in charge of the design.
She finally bought it in 2020, but began remodeling the place to make it a space more like her and meet her needs.
For this project, Benson decided to hire interior designer Nicole Gordon and architect John Farrace, who confess to the magazine that the actress always wanted the original architecture of the structure to be maintained.
Apparently several major changes were made to several of its rooms, which are supposedly quite small. One of the changes that stands out the most is to transform a library into a room for visitors.
They also managed to unite the staff quarters with the original cellar and turn it into a large bar.
On the other hand, the model now has a large dressing room for her which ‘Architectural Digest’ compares to that of Carrie Bradshaw, a character from the famous series ‘Sex and The City’.
