Telemundo launched “Los 50” this year, a competition reality show that brings together 50 celebrities on a farm where they will have to experience events that will put all their physical and mental abilities to the test. The challenge of this game is to beat the “Lion”, the masked host who dictates the rules, imposes the games and makes all the power decisions within his “lair”.
Juan Pablo Llano, renowned soap opera actor, was part of the select group of celebrities who accepted the “León” challenge and entered the hacienda willing to make the commitment to earn his place in this reality show.
Hispanic audiences know Llano for his successful career on television. The actor has been part of major projects such as: “A maid in Manhattan”, “Aurora”, “Elena’s ghost”, “Give me chocolate”, “Francisco the mathematician” and “The authentic Rodrigo Leal”, among others. And although in many of his characters we have come across various villains, in real life he is the complete opposite of the characters he plays.
We talked with Juan Pablo and he leaves the project pleased with his role, especially because of the signs of affection he has received from the public. And it is that although it is true that his strategy and that of the “Combomor” has not worked, they are the ones who are having the best luck with respect to public opinion. While they decided to play against the “Lion”, in an effort not to fall into intrigues and betrayals, many others seized this narrative to “tie knives” with the sole purpose of eliminating them one by one from the competition.
It is for this reason that the maximum eliminated to this day are the Colombians. Since the game began we have seen: Beta Mejía, Sebastián Caicedo, Juan Pablo Llano, Isabella Sierra, Luisa Fernanda Cataño and Daniela Tapia leave the ranch.
It is important to point out that thanks to its way of playing, the most notable personalities in this competition have been those who decided to comply with the game to the letter, which is why the maximum recriminations have fallen on celebrities such as: Thalí García, Fernanda de La mora, Luis, Potro, Caballero, Rafael Nieves, Julia Gama, Kim Shantal and Glena Chapa.
Juan Pablo then celebrates that his name remains intact and blameless before the viewing public. The actor acknowledges that at the end of the day this game is like life itself. The options to betray, lie and manipulate are there, but each person decides which side of history they want to be on, even when they have $350,000 reasons to give up. Despite everything, he preferred to be eliminated than to become someone he simply isn’t.
