Nikki Haley, Republican presidential candidate, assured during an interview on ABC News that President Joe Biden is not going to end his trial, and that, in her opinion, Kamala Harris, who is currently vice president of the United States, will be the next president of the country.
“A vote for Joe Biden is a vote for Kamala Harris, you know it and I know it. There is no way Joe Biden is going to finish his term. I think Kamala Harris will be the next president and that should raise concern for all Americans,” Haley said in an interview with host George Stephanopoulos on ABC News’ “Good Morning America.”
At the time that Stephanopoulos asked Haley what was the basis for making such a statement.
Haley told the host that he should “ask the Americans.”
“We observe the decline that it has had in recent years. You have to be honest with the American people, George, there is no way Joe Biden is going to finish another term. We cannot have an 81-year-old president.”
Haley, who trails behind former President Trump and several other Republican hopefuls in most national primary polls, has consistently attacked the 80-year-old Biden over his age, saying in April that he didn’t think he would “make it” to the 86 years.
He also proposed a mental competency test for candidates for public office over the age of 75 shortly after announcing his campaign.
President Joe Biden assured that he “seriously evaluated” his own age when thinking about his run for re-election, according to information from CNN en Español.
Biden asserted that “(American voters) are going to watch a race, and they are going to judge whether or not I have what it takes. I respect that they look at (age) with a magnifying glass. I also took a hard look at it before deciding to apply, and I feel good, I’m excited about the prospects.” These statements were offered by Biden at a joint press conference with the president of South Korea, Yoon Suk Yeol, at the White House at the end of April. This is how CNN in Spanish reviewed it.
