The director of Mallorca in Spanish soccer and former coach of Rayados de Monterrey in the MX League, Javier Aguirre, joined the criticism that has arisen against the president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), Luis Rubiales, for having kissed the soccer player Jenni Hermoso after winning the Women’s World Cup held this week.

Aguirre explained that this represents a fact “clearly reprehensible” due to the conduct he took in the statements where he assures that he does not intend to resign from his position as president of the Spanish federation because of the kiss and assured that it is quite negative “that more is said from that fact and not from the fact that the girls are world champions”.

“I think we are all on the same line. It is a reprehensible conduct (Rubiales’ kiss to the soccer player Jennifer Hermoso) by all accounts. What saddens you the most is that this news is above the real news: that (the girls) are world champions”, said the Mallorca coach during the press conference prior to the match against Granada CF.

“Instead of talking about Rubiales, we should talk about (Irene) Paredes, about Cata (Coll) de Aitana (Bonmatí), the best in the tournament, the best player in the world, who is Spanish. Or the poor girl (Olga Carmona) who scores the goal and loses her father. They are things that are left aside, “said the” Vasco “.

Finally, the coach highlighted the important achievement that the Spanish team reached when recovering from a painful 4-0 defeat against Japan and demonstrated the high level they currently have.

“They hit him four times and it’s difficult for you to get up in a World Cup after that, and I’ve been to four World Cups. The Spanish girls are world champions and it turns out that we have to be talking about something else. The poor things don’t have covers, or kickoffs in matches, or the applause of fans in stadiums. They ask them about that fact and not about the world title and that is what disturbs me”, concluded Javier Aguirre.
