Actor Mitchel Musso, best known for playing Oliver Oken on the teen series ‘Hannah Montana’, was arrested in Texas this weekend.
According to media reports such as Deadline and TMZ, the actor was in Rockwall jail on charges related to public intoxication, theft of less than $100, failing to present a driver’s license, having an expired registration and violating the promise to appear before the corresponding authorities.
The arrest of the former Disney star was registered after he had some fries inside a hotel self-service store and refused to pay for the product, which led to the request for police support by the employees of the place .
TMZ detailed that the elements located Mitchel Musso in an alleged ethylic state outside the lodging site. He was later transferred to a Texas jail, where he remained for a few hours until he was released after posting $1,000 bail.
The same medium published a photograph from the Rockwall County Sheriff’s Office, where the actor appears with a downcast face.
Mitchel gained worldwide recognition for his charismatic characters in Disney movies and shows, where he provided the voice in animated series like ‘Phineas and Ferb’, and ‘Milo Murphy’s Law.’ In addition to working on the dubbing, Musso was present in the series ‘Hannah Montana’, along with Miley Cyrus.
