Police are searching for two men who fatally stabbed a 36-year-old resident on a Bronx street in broad daylight Saturday, officials said.
The two criminals approached Jyleal Conner near East 149th Street and Bergen Avenue at 11:35 a.m. and stabbed him multiple times all over his body with sharp objects, authorities said.
The victim was rushed to Lincoln Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, the New York Police Department said.
According to the officers, the two attackers fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.
The NYPD released images of the two suspects before the crime in an attempt to find help from the public.
One of the subjects was seen wearing large sunglasses, a mask and a New York Yankees cap and was also wearing a lightweight V-neck T-shirt.
The other suspect was also wearing a NY Yankees cap and dark T-shirt with rolled-up pants. He also appeared to be smoking a cigarette before the homicide.
