There is a lot of controversy surrounding the song “Pasa la página” by the Puerto Rican interpreter Luis Fonsi. And it is that when the song came out, many associated that this topic is a very direct message to Adamari López, the woman with whom he was married between 2006 and 2010.
“Hey, turn the page, na na, you’re not the victim, ma ma, to be loved you don’t have to be sorry. Turn the page, nothing, go on with your life, da da, you’re living a story that’s over”, Fonsi exclaims in this song.
For many, the message is clear: he talks about his ex-wife, despite having been divorced for 13 years and that he is now married to Agüeda López, with whom he has two children.
In the midst of the controversy, Adamari López does not remain silent and through her popular reels she sends a message that for many is her response to her ex-husband and her song ‘Turn the page’.
Sitting in front of the dressing table mirror, wearing a blue dress and her hair loose, López laughs: “Stop telling me what I should and shouldn’t do. I don’t listen.”
This message unleashes a wave of comments from Internet users. Here are some of the most prominent.
“Answer for Luis Fonsi”, “I think more that Mr. Fonsi loves to be reminded of Adamari, because I think he knows that she loved him very much, they made a cute couple”, “It is the hint for Luis Fonsi because of the the last song he released”, “This or more direct (Luis Fonsi)”, “Sending you to turn the page, the same page that he has not been able to turn” and “Calladito, the one on the page looks prettier” are some of the messages that Adamari López has received from her followers, who have interpreted the message.
