There is no greater joy than being able, one day, to win an important lottery prize; However, in case it happens to you, you must always take some precautions, since emotion can lead you to experience greater disappointment.

That was what happened to a man from the United Kingdom named Tom Gray, who lives in Romford, London, who bought a ticket for a scratch-off game called “Lucky Streak” a few days ago, which, in the first instance, would give him the chance to win up to $90,000 instantly.

Gray scratched the ticket and realized at first glance that he had hit the big jackpot. After making plans with his money, he shared the good news with his children and they told him that they had to go immediately to collect the prize.

So immediately, they went to the nearest lottery office to do it. But they were shocked and disappointed when they were told they would only get the equivalent of $2.

The explanation they were given was that the scratch-off ticket had a printing error that had erased part of the card, which made it appear that one of the figures that appeared on it had 5 points, which made it win the jackpot .

“The card said that if you matched the dots on the dice, you had won, and the dice showed four dots on each. It is his fault if there is a printing error, ”commented the Briton.

“I felt devastated for my father because he had already started to think about what he was going to do for his children. That’s what bothers me the most. It seems so unfair to me. Even if it is a misprint, whose fault is it?” Her daughter asserted.
