A couple of days ago the news emerged that Francisco Ugalde, Ana Bárbara’s brother, took legal action against him. The reason? According to some Mexican media, this is because, according to him, the interpreter of “Bandido” has not given him authorship credits for several of her songs.
Ana Bárbara’s reaction has not been long in coming. She spoke with the cameras of the Televisión Azteca program, “Ventaneando” to ensure that this situation does not worry her in the least, and that she is willing to defend her songs tooth and nail, as reported by Mezcalent. One of the main reasons that has allowed Don Antero Ugalde’s daughter to remain calm is knowing that her brother has no evidence to prove part of her supposed authorship of her songs.
“It has always been unfortunate to have to deal since last year with a media issue of down people. Unfortunate moments and situations hit you, because I’m not a stickman, but I also believe in the law of cause and effect, and it’s clear to me that things are falling under their own weight, it’s unnecessary to clarify, my songs are my songs and I have nothing else to prove”, said Ana Bárbara as quoted by Mezcal Entertainment.
Despite all this situation, Ana assures that she is very happy and above all excited for her “Bandidos Tour” that began in the United States and will soon arrive in the Mexican Republic.
