A young man was found dead last night with an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound inside a parked car on fashionable Park Avenue in Midtown Manhattan (NYC), less than half a mile from Grand Central Station.
The unidentified man was in his 20s. He was found inside a beige Honda sedan near East 47th Street and Park Avenue just before 8:30 p.m. Friday, according to the New York police. The vehicle had Pennsylvania license plates, he said. New York Post.
The youth had a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene. The weapon used in the apparent suicide was found at the scene.
The car was parked near 277 Park Ave., which houses some of JPMorgan Chase’s corporate offices, four blocks south of the NFL headquarters.
