FC Barcelona presented its third kit this Saturday for the 2023-2024 season, which will coincidentally be released this Sunday in the match against Osasuna in La Liga. In this way, the Catalan team already has the three uniforms that have caused a great impact on the fans of the Catalans.

After presenting a second white kit in homage to the Dutch footballer Johan Cruyff’s time at the club, the club highlighted in a statement that this third kit comes in a “light aqua” color, also considered an expression of inspiration and the creativity.

“Its design reveals everything that is part of Barça, its history, its style of play and the young talents trained at La Masia, who, with their careers, inspire the whole world,” explained the Spanish club. it’s a statement.

This “light blue” color reminds us of a couple of third kits that Barcelona used in the past, such as the one from the 1996-1997 season, when the Brazilian Ronaldo Nazario briefly passed through the culé club.

It also reminds one of the 2010-2010 season, with a Barcelona that had just won the treble.

As explained by the club in the statement, the new kit that the first men’s and women’s soccer teams will wear was produced using “100% recycled polyester, made from recycled plastic bottles that are melted to obtain a very fine thread, obtaining thus a fabric that allows maximum performance in sports practice and with a minimum impact on the environment”.
