The Spanish Sergio Ramos will continue in Europe’s elite football. According to EFE, the central defender will play this season in Spain, specifically for Sevilla FC, after his contract with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) expired on June 30.
Since that date, Sergio Ramos had been a free agent and will now return to the club that formed him. After 18 years that he left Seville to become a Real Madrid legend, Ramos reached an agreement this Sunday that will become official in the next few hours.
The international defender with Spain in 181 opportunities would have a contract with Sevilla for one season, plus one more conditioned on objectives.
In this way, Sevilla seeks to strengthen itself in a league start where it has not yet been able to score points in the first three days.
The 37-year-old centre-back finally had the option to stay in Europe despite the millions being offered to him from Turkey and Saudi Arabia.
The Andalusian team was Ramos’s first team in his career as a footballer, defending the colors of Sevilla from 2003 to 2006.
