The singer James Hetfield, lead singer of Metallica, tested positive for Covid-19, so the band had to postpone one of their shows in Arizona.
“We are very sorry to inform you that the M72 date scheduled for tomorrow at State Farm Stadium has been postponed to Saturday, September 9, 2023, since COVID unfortunately caught up with James,” the group wrote on its Instagram account.
The interpreter of “Nothing Else Matters” shared a photo where the positive coronavirus test appears and assured that they will restock the concert.
“We are very disappointed and are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused you; We look forward to returning to complete the non-replay weekend of the M72 at Glendale next Saturday,” he explained.
James Hetfield presented a problem with his vocal cords during a concert, for no apparent reason, after going to the doctor he discovered that it was the coronavirus.
