“We are in a difficult position; We still have the possibility of entering the first four or fourth place. We are working, leaving behind what we have been doing and focusing on what is coming. There is a lot of quality and we showed it in many games, unfortunately (the result) did not happen, but here we go. There is no longer any margin for error, we can no longer give anything away,” the player said at a press conference.

When asked if the players of the celestial organization felt sporting shame for the results they have obtained this year, he stressed that he has not seen his teammates with that attitude and that on the contrary they feel with the obligation to seek victory in each one. of the games they play.

“I don’t know whether to say sports shame; I think that my teammates, in almost every game, have given everything, they played very well, unfortunately some mistakes we made have cost us, but we have already seen that if we put in the effort and each one gives our best we can fight anyone ”, emphasized the star.

“We know what Cruz Azul is; We are aware of that. We are in the big club; We understand that we must be in the first positions. We are working well, in a good way, trying to turn this around and go as far as possible,” added Juan Escobar in his statements.

Finally, Escobar admitted that this has been the most complicated moment he has had to experience in Mexican soccer since his arrival at the Cruz Azul Machine in the 2019 Apertura tournament.

“It costs me a little more, because of the responsibility I have now, but I feel a lot of confidence in my teammates, I know the quality of the players, of the kids who are coming up, we have to turn this around. We know how complicated it is to be in this position, but we must try to do our best, to tell another story, a nice one, and I hope it ends well,” he concluded.
