Lenni Rodriguez Cruz, 28, bit off the tip of an NYPD sergeant’s finger in a Queens holding cell after being arrested drunk in a wild chase in a car with fake license plates. caused a multiple crash.

The chaos began Wednesday, shortly before midnight, when officers in the Jamaica neighborhood noticed a blue Nissan Altima with fake license plates driving on Liberty Ave. near Merrick Blvd., NYPD said.

Rodriguez Cruz was charged with driving under the influence, assault with intent to cause disfigurement or dismemberment and other charges.

He pleaded “not guilty” at his arraignment yesterday in Queens Criminal Court. All charges are mere accusations and those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
