Two criminals threatened an elderly man with a gun in Brooklyn while trying to steal his wallet, punching him repeatedly before also stealing his car, authorities reported.
The victim, who is 76 years old, was washing his vehicle at Evergreen Avenue and Palmetto Street in Bushwick around 4:30 p.m. on September 14 when one of the thieves approached him from behind.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested that same day for the crime, the New York Police Department said.
The silver car was stopped that same day in eastern New York and the young man behind the wheel was charged with robbery, threatening, criminal possession of a weapon and harassment.
Her name was not released since she is a minor, the New York Post reported.
The NYPD released images of the other thief and is searching for him. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans and a blue scarf tied around his neck, officials said.
