Natanael Cano will have to pay a fine of $1,244,880 pesos to the Chihuahua City Council as a result of the show he gave last Friday night and in which, despite recommendations, he apologized for the crime and promoted gender violence, according to the authorities.

The mayor’s office explained that the above is stipulated in Article 34 of the Civic Justice Regulations, as well as in articles 208, 209 and 222 of the Entertainment and Entertainment Regulations for the Municipality of Chihuahua.
“The Municipal Government reiterates the call to promoters and artists who make presentations in the municipality to conduct themselves in accordance with the regulations and promote healthy coexistence. A few days before the event, the singer was notified, through the organizers, that in order to appear in the city he had to cover a guarantee in anticipation of said fine.
The municipal president of Chihuahua, Marco Antonio Bonilla Mendoza, confirmed that the artist had covered the requested deposit of $670 thousand pesos. He explained that this guarantee, established in municipal regulations, is requested after carrying out a prior analysis of the musical catalog of the performers and bands, to detect songs in which crime is advocated, especially about drug trafficking, as well as misogynistic or violent expressions. against girls, adolescents and/or women.
The 22-year-old corridos tumbados singer, who two weeks ago participated in the Arre festival, at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in CDMX, did not comment on the matter on social networks.
