A lucky player in New York of the Powerball lottery won $1 million dollars in the drawing on Saturday, September 23.
According to officials, the winning ticket was purchased at “Chestnut Mart” at 69 Theodore Fremo Ave, Rye, Westchester County. The player matched all five white balls. No bill matched all six numbers. The white balls were 1, 12, 20, 33 and 66 and the red Powerball was 21.
Seven other players in New York won $50,000 in that same drawing. Those tickets were sold at the following stores:
-Wolf Road Mobil: 88 Wold Rd., Albany.
-Main Street Mart: 230 Main St., Center Moriches.
-Stewart’s Shops: Route 146, Clifton Park.
-Twiggs Convenience & Smoke: 639 Middle Neck Rd., Great Neck.
-YZ 99 Cents: 817 Seneca Ave., Ridgewood, Queens.
-Cumberland Farms: Campbell Avenue, Troy.
-The Depot/New Smith Haven Smoke: Green Acres Mall in Valley Stream.
The Powerball jackpot grew to an estimated $785 million dollars for last night’s drawing, Monday the 25th, he said. Pix11. It is the 4th largest amount in the history of that lottery, he said. CNN.
Players can securely check their tickets in the New York Lottery app or on the official website. Players have up to one calendar year from the time of the drawing to claim their prizes.
