A strange case occurs in Virginia, where a man says he has no reason to worry after the disappearance of his wife and three children, since he assures that they are fine.

“Contrary to what has been reported, my wife and children are not ‘missing.’ “I have no reason to worry about their safety or well-being,” Jordan Cook told WSET TV.

He stated that he has heard from them and asked that his family’s privacy be respected.

The last time they saw Lauren Elizabeth Tousa Cook, 30, and little Benjamin, 7; Hannah, 5; and Elijah, 2, was on September 5 in Franklin County, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office reported on Facebook.

Sergeant Megan Huston informed Today that originally the husband had declared that he had no contact with the disappeared, but later changed his version.

“He recently said yes, but he doesn’t know or won’t reveal the location,” the sergeant added.

The officer clarified that the man is cooperating with the authorities and that he is not being fully investigated for this case, although he is involved in the investigations.

Today published that the security office indicated that the missing person report began on the 13th of this month, when the woman did not appear for the second time in the Franklin County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court. The reasons why she should be in that instance were not indicated because minor records are confidential.

“Police follow-up was carried out with family members who had lost contact with Lauren and the children several days earlier. It was at that time that a missing person report was made and they were entered by authorities as missing persons. “There has been no reported contact with Lauren since September 5 or 6, when she claimed she was in New York visiting family,” Huston explained.

On September 14, they detected that the woman and children were in Litchfield, Illinois. The last record obtained from the cell phone was in Lexington, Kentucky. The family, according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, could be traveling in a blue 2013 Chrysler pickup truck with Virginia tags.
