As explained by the writers of this series, Paul Tamasy and Eric Johnson, the objective is for American football fans to be able to remember and/or learn about the great feats carried out by the Patriots led by Brady between 2000 and 2019.

Expectations with this production are high and part of this has to do with the experience that Tamasy and Johnson have in telling sports stories. An example of this is the fact that they were nominated for an Oscar for the 2010 film ‘El Peleador’, starring Mark Wahlberg and Christian Bale.
It should be noted that this series will be based on the book ’12: Inside the Story of Tom Brady’s Fight for Redemption’, written by Casey Sherman and Dave Wedge, published in 2018.

This will be the third joint effort between screenwriters Paul Tamasy and Eric Johnson, and writers Casey Sherman and Dave Wedge, who previously worked on the adaptation of the Disney film ‘The Finest Hours’ and the film ‘Patriots’. Day’ (Patriots’ Day).
