This Friday, Liverpool carried out a dynamic that they captured on video, in which the team’s players reacted to their skill cards in the new EA Sports football video game FC 24.
Given the revelation of the scores, some players were not very happy with the statistics they will have in the video game. There was even a funny situation in the locker room during one of the reactions.
The protagonist was the world champion with Argentina Alexis Mac Allister. They showed the midfielder his letter which has an average score of 82. The Argentine was not very convinced, as he expected at least an 85.
His teammate Diogo Jota commented “he should be higher”, to which Mac Allister replied, “there is disappointment here”. When detailing the letter, one of the lowest values that Alexis had was speed, which barely reached 77. Given this, Jota told him “you’re not that fast.”
Immediately afterwards, Ibrahima Konaté, the team’s French defender, entered and commented rhetorically, “You won the World Cup and you’re 82? Normally, with the World Cup you should be 85.” But even before the Argentine could answer him anything, Konaté finished: “But I don’t care because you won the World Cup against me,” and ended up throwing his own letter and leaving the locker room.
Mac Allister gave a small laugh and tried to calm him down. Although Konaté’s response was entirely joking, without seeking any unpleasantness. Konaté was part of the France squad that lost the world final in Qatar 2022 and even saw minutes in that electrifying definition.
The football video game FC 24 officially launched this September 29. It was developed by EA Sports, who until last year created FIFA games for more than 20 years, but which from this season will no longer have the rights to FIFA, so it changed its name to FC.
