Boxers Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk have contractually committed to a fight for the undisputed heavyweight championship in Saudi Arabia.

As reported by ESPN and later confirmed by the “Gypsy King” himself on his social networks, the Ukrainian Usyk will dispute his titles from the World Boxing Association (WBA), the World Boxing Organization (WBO) and the International Boxing Federation ( IBF).

According to ESPN, the fight could take place on December 23 or sometime in January. However, on October 28, Fury will face former UFC champion Francis Ngannou in another event to be held in Saudi Arabia.

This confrontation will be key for the British fighter, who will test his skills in the ring against a rival who comes from mixed martial arts, where he has been an undisputed champion.

The Fury-Usyk fight will determine boxing’s first undisputed heavyweight champion in the four-belt era. Tyson Fury holds the World Boxing Council (WBC) title

Fury and Usyk were in talks to fight in April at London’s Wembley Stadium before talks collapsed at the last minute.
