The second double day of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers will be played in a few days, there are even several teams that have confirmed their first absences for the matches on date 3 and 4 of the qualifiers.
This is the case of Brazil, which will have to modify its list for the duels against Venezuela and Uruguay due to a significant drop in attack.
And in the last few hours, the injury of the Barcelona winger, the Brazilian Raphinha, was confirmed, who suffered a physical discomfort in the Blaugranas’ victory against Sevilla this Friday.
“The tests carried out have shown that the first team player Raphinha suffers an injury to the femoral biceps of his right thigh. It is low and his evolution will determine his availability,” Barecelona said in a statement.
Raphinha would be out for at least a month, so he could recover around the first classic of the season against Real Madrid, which is on October 28. What is certain is that he will not be against Porto in Do Dragao or against Granada in Los Cármenes.
The Brazilian would also miss the matches against Athletic and Shakhtar, on October 22 and 25, respectively with Barcelona.
