Specialized media have described the recent sale made by actor Mark Wahlberg as a surprise, as he got rid of the large mansion in The Summit Club, Las Vegas, Nevada, which he bought just a year ago.
Wahlberg bought this property in September of last year for $14.5 million dollars and now, according to information released by ‘New York Post’, he has received $16.6 million dollars. The sale was not only surprising because of the little time that passed between its purchase and his sale, but also because of the conviction that the 52-year-old actor speaks about staying forever in Las Vegas.
It must also be taken into account that he spent several months trying to sell his impressive property in Beverly Hills, California, because he was convinced to start a new life in Nevada with his family. Wahlberg eventually sold the Los Angeles property for $55 million, a figure well below what he expected to receive.
At the moment it is unknown why the actor decided to sell the villa within the luxurious The Summit Club, but it is clear that he still owns a 2.5-acre lot that he bought within the same club.
It seems that the villa was never inhabited by the actor or his family, so it was a simple investment that turned out well, as he made a profit of $2 million dollars.
The newly sold villa spans 7,327 square feet spread over two floors with four bedrooms, four full bathrooms, foyer, living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room and other amenities.
In addition to the luxuries and amenities within the property, The Summit Club offers a game room equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, a variety of cuisine, terraces, reflecting pools, fire pits and more.
