Currently, one of the richest men in the world, Elon Musk, has a fortune of around $250 billion dollars. The most surprising of all is that just three years ago, Musk had $24.6 billion.
This means that the Tesla founder’s fortune increased by $2,378 every second, on average, over the last three years.
This would be $142,680 for each minute or $8,560,800 per hour.
If Elon Musk went to sleep for eight hours, when he woke up he would be $68,486,400 richer.
Most of the fortune of the SpaceX founder also comes from the shares he owns in his company.
And Elon Musk does not have a cash salary nor does he receive bonuses of any kind, as he announced in a tweet he published in November 2021.
Musk said that when it comes time to pay his taxes, he sells some of his shares.
However, even though he is a super millionaire, Musk doesn’t pay much in taxes because he technically doesn’t make much income.
