When Jennifer Lopez welcomed her twins Max and Emme in 2008, she immediately began to feel insecure about her body.
She confessed this during the Daytime Beauty Awards, when she gave a lifetime achievement award to her coach, Tracy Anderson, who helped her overcome those insecurities.
“I’ve been reflecting a lot lately, revisiting past versions of myself to fully embrace my current self,” the performer said when she went up to the premiere to give the award, according to E! News.
“And I remember how much Tracy has inspired and encouraged me to celebrate every version of my body over the years and to continue to elevate myself as my own life and needs have changed.”
Concerned with the evolution of her physique after her pregnancy with Max and Emme, the result of her relationship with Marc Anthony, López went to Anderson to help her with an exercise, diet and well-being routine.
“I met Tracy right after I had my twins. I called her at a time when she was feeling insecure, wondering if she would ever go back to the way she was before, like most new mothers do after giving birth.”
“She came into my life and helped me embrace the new me and help me be and realize that I could be stronger than ever.”
The friendship and relationship between the singer and the trainer has been going on for just over 15 years, resulting in routines and habits that have kept Jennifer López’s physical health at the highest quality.
