Josua Tuisova, Fijian rugby player, is experiencing his most delicate moment while competing in the World Cup in France, after receiving the news that his seven-year-old son has died after facing a long illness.

The son of Tuisova, one of the stars of the Oceania cast, died at the age of seven at the Lautoka Hospital. “It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Micgabraph Donzel Ratulevu, son of Mr. Josua Tuisova and Mrs. Katarina Ladoge Ramoce. Affectionately known as Tito, he died peacefully after a long battle against a debilitating illness,” the medical center reported.

Despite the sad news, the international has decided to miss his son’s funeral to continue in France and be able to play the momentous match that pits Fiji against Portugal and which, if won, would give him a place in the quarterfinals of the World Cup. .

The 29-year-old is on the brink of making history with Fiji and leading his country to the quarter-finals of a World Cup after 16 years. When the draw for the top competition was made and the islanders fell into the same group as Australia and Wales, the predictions had them eliminated.

Josua will make the sacrifice of not attending his son’s funeral to fulfill a dream, go where he had never imagined and enhance the history of the Fiji rugby team with his most special dedication.

To add importance to the event against the Portuguese, it may be the third time that the Fliying Fijians access the phase of the best eight countries: in New Zealand-Australia 1987 they also arrived and lost to the French by 31-16.
