The violence that has been experienced at the start of the 2023-2024 NFL season in the stands of the stadiums has not stopped making the news and this Sunday there was a new incident after a Los Angeles Chargers fan hit a fan in the face. another Las Vegas Raiders fan during the meeting between both teams at SoFi Stadium.

Through a video that went viral on social networks, a couple of fans are seen arguing from section 234 of the stadium, apparently due to a misunderstanding that ultimately ended up getting out of control in a matter of seconds.

The argument, which at first was verbal although in a loud voice, escalated to another level when the Chargers fan wearing quarterback Justin Herbert’s shirt wanted to push or headbutt the rival fan who started the fight.

In a few seconds, the Chargers fan surprised the Raiders fan and hit him in the face that made him fall, and later hit him again and even pushed him down the stairs of SoFi Stadium.

Others present in the stands, seeing that the fight was going to continue escalating, decided to intervene to resolve the situation, separating those involved.

At the time of this note, it is unknown if the victim filed charges with the local police against his attacker or if anyone was expelled by the Chargers board after the incident.

This is not the first incident to occur this season in the NFL. During the match between the New England Patriots and the Miami Dolphins on matchday two, an incident also in the stands ended with a fight that hours later left a person dead.

The fan, whose name was not known, succumbed to cardiac arrest allegedly linked to injuries in the altercation and although he was taken to a health center for treatment, he arrived without vital signs.
