Without the need for magic or tricks, but with a certain art, folklore and musical illusionism, Bad Bunny prolonged his dominance at the Billboard Latin Music Awards.

The “Bad Rabbit” won last night, on the stage of the Watsco Center, in Coral Gables, Florida, the most coveted award, Artist of the Year, for the fourth consecutive time!

“This is by the fans and for the fans. Thank you for listening to my music, without you I wouldn’t be here. I carry them in my heart,” she said, before a crowd overwhelmed by his presence.

The Puerto Rican, who came with 15 nominations, like the Mexican Grupo Frontera, was left with seven statuettes, the aforementioned Artist of the Year (Global) and, in addition, Tour of the Year and Song of the Year (Sales and Latin Rhythm), for “Titi Asked Me.”

Featherweight, who was the top favorite, with 21 nominations in 15 categories, ended up with eight. The first statuette was won for Hot Latin Song-Song of the Year.

Halfway through the ceremony, the corridos tumbados performer, who has gotten Alicia Keys to remake her hit “Ella Baila Sola,” took the stage with the group that co-wrote the song, Eslabón Armado.

“And this is for Mexico, thank you very much for this award. Thanks to my friend, Featherweight, who rode well. To the entire team,” said Pedro Tovar, from the Sierreño Sinaloa band.

“Wanting to thank all the fans who made this possible, the musicians, the entire team, and, above all, Pedro (Tovar), who let me jump to this amazing song, up to Mexico!”, expressed Peso Pluma, who later received the Artist of the Year/Debut award from wrestler Rey Misterio.

During the party sponsored by Telemundo, hosted by Danilo Carrera and Jacky Bracamontes, Bad Bunny was the sensation among the audience, which included stars such as Ivy Queen, RBD, Christian de la Campa and Andrea Meza.

The Puerto Rican offered a medley of some of his hits and set the flow among fans who did not stop recording his images on their cell phones or chanting, as well as celebrities such as Nadia Ferreira and Paris Hilton, who danced to the beat of “Moscow Mule”, “Where She Goes”, “Tití Me Preguntó”, “Neverita” and “Me Porto Bonito”.

At the ceremony of the formerly called Latin Billboard Music Awards, a tone was also set with the broadcast, since several stars, brands and influencers had access to the official clips of the broadcast to publish them on their networks and make them a global trend, or, on the same host Facebook channel, without restrictions.

These were the cases of Marc Anthony and Pepe Aguilar, who sang “Hola Te Duela”, and the same thing happened with Eladio Carrión, who delighted with his hit “Mbappé”, or Justin Quiles and El Alfa, who set the scene with “Fiesta Loca”. .

Cumbia, dancing and toasts came with Los Ángeles Azules, who received the Billboard Artistic Trajectory and made everyone dance with a medley that included “Otra Noche”, “Mis Sentimientos” and “Como Te Voy a Olvidar”, accompanied by Nicki Nicole , Ximena Sariñana and Sofía Reyes.

“And this cumbia, this love for music, and you know it, from Iztapalapa to the world!” said Elías Mejía.

A decade after her tragic loss, Jenni Rivera was remembered with a tribute by her daughter Chiquis, accompanied by Los Sebastianes and Caliber 50.
