The technical director of the Mexican team, Jaime Lozano, offered this Thursday night a new list of players called up for the next FIFA date that will be held in a week, with the striking call to several new faces.
El “Tri” will play two friendly matches against Ghana and Germany in preparation for the next competitive dates. These dates will be key for Lozano after being ratified as the technical director of the absolute team in September, after winning the Gold Cup as interim coach after the departure of Argentine Diego Coca.
Names such as Santiago Giménez, Feyenoord forward, stand out in the call, who arrives in great shape after scoring 10 goals in the first eight games of the 2023-2024 season. Ramón Juárez, defender of América, as well as the return of Hirving “Chucky” Lozano, are some of the new additions to Lozano’s list.
In addition to Juárez, Julio González, Pumas goalkeeper, and Marcel Ruíz, Toluca midfielder, are two other new players in Lozano’s squad.
Those led by “Jimmy” Lozano will travel to the United States to face Ghana on Saturday, October 14 at the Bank Of America Stadium, in Carolina. On the 17th the friendly will be against Germany and will be played in Philadelphia, at Lincoln Financial Field.
