A French couple gave a unique touch to their wedding by offering McDonald’s food to their guests, a decision they made because they were fans of the brand and for reasons of cost.

They are Ophélie, 25, and Thomas Billaudeau, 27, a newly married couple who decided to offer their guests McDonald’s food during their wedding reception in Beauvais, France.

The moment was recorded on TikTok, reaching millions of views, and many comments, some in favor and others against, the truth is that the 45 guests received their McDonald’s meals.

“If you’re going to pay, you might as well get something you like,” was the bride’s argument to the newspaper Le Parisien. The young woman confessed that she “was afraid to pay for something that she didn’t like.”

“We chose that [comida] As a joke. Those around us know that we really like this type of food. And, above all, we didn’t have a big budget,” said the groom, quoted by The New York Post.

The bride also played it safe, because she confessed to being a “picky eater,” so McDonald’s food knew what she would like.

In the video you can see the young woman saying: “Thank you very much, I will let you discover tonight’s meal,” and then she expresses “Come as you are,” allegorical to the McDonald’s slogan.

There was a special mobilization for the great order

The “wedding” order required “special mobilization to ensure the production of more than 300 sandwiches in a very short time.”

The investment was around 1,000 euros, and included hamburgers, sandwiches, nuggets and wraps, and had an element of surprise that livened up the moment, as the food delivery man entered as a disguised guest with brown paper bags, reports The New York Post.

The guests received him with applause and, very excited, they received their food. Part of the experience was recorded in a 28-second video with 2.4 million views, which she posted on social media.

The comments did not wait, some in favor, others against, the truth is that the experience fits with a McDonald’s strategy announced in July in Indonesia, which offers a $200 wedding plan for those who want this type of meal. on that special day.
