Florida Senator Rick Scott recalled this Saturday that US President Joe Biden gave Iran the amount of $6 billion dollars last month. That money, according to the Republican, is intended for financing terrorism.
The statement was made by Scott in response to the terrorist attacks perpetrated by Hamas against Israel, which have left dozens dead and injured. He assured that the Iranian regime is behind these events.
“This is exactly why so many Americans and Israelis were disgusted to see President Biden give the Iranian regime $6 billion last month,” he said.
“Every dollar given to Iran funds terrorism in the Ayatollah’s attempt to destroy Israel. “Iran is behind the invasion and everyone must say so while we support our Israeli allies,” he added.
Quoted on his website, he stated that Israelis are dying at the hands of “Iranian-backed terrorists” and stated that President Biden, as well as all American allies and partners, must condemn the invasion and acts of war.
“The Iranian regime supports Hamas’ murderous attacks,” accused the former governor of Florida.
Rick Scott also condemned Biden’s late response on Hamas terrorist attacks in Israel.
“Israel is under attack and being invaded. Israeli women and children are being murdered and dragged through the streets of Gaza by Hamas terrorists, backed by Iran. It’s 9:25 and we still haven’t heard from the president of the United States. “Where the hell is Joe Biden?” he questioned.
The Biden Administration unfrozen $6,000 to Iran last month, as part of a prisoner swap with Tehran.
The Republican National Committee blamed the Democrat for having “emboldened” the enemies of the United States and Israel.
“Less than a month ago, he unfrozen $6 billion for Iran, the largest state sponsor of terrorism, and now Israel is once again under attack. “Once again, Biden’s weakness and appeasement have emboldened our enemies,” said Ronna McDaniel, chair of the committee.
