Cristiano Ronaldo continues his good football moment with Al Nassr of Saudi Arabia. Last Tuesday he scored a double against Al-Duhail SC of Qatar to give his team a 4-2 victory in the Asian Champions League.

The Portuguese continues to enjoy his scoring quota and now with 45 goals he establishes himself as the top scorer of 2023. Despite his 38 years, Cristiano looks in excellent shape and breaking records in the sport.

The captain of the Portugal team spoke after his most recent double in the Asian competition, and commented on how much fun he is having in Saudi Arabia.

“I don’t care about records. What I think is enjoy the moment, our team is getting better and better. Our coach and technical team have helped us a lot to put Al Nassr’s team at the top. I am having fun. “I think that is the key word in what I have been doing,” said the former Real Madrid and Manchester United player.

The scorer also emphasized how different he feels from the rest of the players. Well, despite being in a league that does not have the level of European competitions, Cristiano continues working, training and making an effort as he has since day one.

“Obviously it would be a lie to say that I am not happy scoring goals and playing well. But Cristiano is not like everyone else. I am different from the others, that is why I continue playing and doing things well,” said the forward.

Since the start of the season, Cristiano Ronaldo has 14 goals and seven assists in 13 games with Al Nassr. A figure that also keeps him the top scorer in the Arab championship with 11 goals in the league.

“My performances have been happening, because only with the help of my teammates and coaches have I been at the highest level. This for me is the most important thing. I repeat, it is about enjoying the moment and continuing to help Al Nassr and the National Team,” Cristiano analyzed.

For its part, Al Nassr is third in the Saudi Arabian First Division table, four points behind the leader Al Hilal with just 10 games played in the tournament. Cristiano arrived at the Arab club in January 2023 and already managed to win the Asian Champions League last season.
