Starting this Wednesday, JetBlue airline customers can book flights to Dublin, Ireland, or Edinburgh, Scotland, following the inauguration of these two transatlantic routes for the summer season.
The New York-based airline reported in a statement that, in the case of flights to Dublin Airport (DUB), the planes will take off from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in the Big Apple and Logan International Airport ( BOS) in Boston, Massachusetts.
These flights will begin to depart on March 13, 2024.
The flight service to the capital of Scotland (EDI), which will begin on May 22, will be offered from New York.
Seasonal flights will be available until September 30, 2024.
Additionally, JetBlue announced that starting April 3, flights will be available from BOS to Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) in Paris, France. A second flight will be added to the itinerary from JFK to the same airfield starting June 20.
“The success of our transatlantic service proves to consumers that they don’t have to choose between great service and cheap fares and they can have both with our award-winning Mint products,” said Robin Hayes, CEO of JetBlue. “Our seasonal summer service to Dublin and Edinburgh will bring a new level of service and affordable fares to these markets that have been dominated by high-cost airlines for decades. “We look forward to introducing the JetBlue experience to business and leisure travelers traveling to and from Ireland and Scotland this summer,” the executive added.
Consumers will travel on Airbus A321 Mint® aircraft with 16 redesigned suites, 144 seats and the spacious Airspace interior cabin.
Prices for customers purchasing flights departing from the United States start at $399 and $599 to Dublin and Edinburgh, respectively.
JetBlue also offers flights to Amsterdam, Netherlands, and London, England.
