The Republican primary candidates accused President Joe Biden this Saturday of promoting anti-Semitism and supporting hateful behavior towards Israel that, they claimed, is spreading through universities in the United States.

The accusations were made during the Republican Jewish Convention, which was held in Las Vegas, and in which former President Donald Trump and former Vice President Mike Pence participated, among others.

All rejected the Democratic government’s distant positions in the conflict between Israel and Hamas, as well as the recent prisoner exchange between the United States and Iran, which also involved the unfreezing of $6 billion for the Iranian regime.

According to some, this money was used to finance the terrorist organization to finally carry out its deadly incursion into Israeli territory, which left more than 1,400 dead, hundreds injured and missing.

“President Biden should stop talking about containment and support Israel’s right to defend itself unconditionally,” said former Vice President Pence, who stated that the United States is experiencing the “most explosive and dangerous demonstrations” of anti-Semitism in its history.

The now former presidential candidate stated that never before had so many people celebrated the mass murder of Jews.

Joe Biden “rewards” terrorism

Senator Tim Scott affirmed that Biden “rewards terrorism” and regretted that “tons of money” are being sent to Iran, which has American hostages in its hands, the Efe news agency published.

He also proposed stopping funding universities where anti-Semitism is practiced and attacked Democratic politicians of Muslim origin, such as Congresswoman Ilhan Omar or Rashida Tlaib, whom he accused of proclaiming herself “Propaganda Minister of Hamas.”

“I know campus leftism, I’ve been there, but even in my time I would never have seen that kind of activism that really celebrates terrorists and is openly anti-Semitic,” said Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

Likewise, the writer, businessman and politician Vivek Ramaswamy criticized the Joe Biden government for the exchange of hostages between Iran and the United States. “It is completely crazy that the administration has made a $6 billion ransom payment to Iran, which is not only asking for the death of Israel, but also the death of the United States,” he said.

“There is almost no doubt that the October 7 attacks on Israel were, at least to a small extent, in part the result of that disastrous move by this Biden administration.

The former governor of South Carolina, Nikki Haley, said she was glad that many in both parties support Israel and criticized that the actions of the president of the United States “do not always” match his words. “Biden followed in (former President Barack) Obama’s footsteps by sympathizing with Iran and helping Israel’s number one enemy. There would be no Hamas without Iran and there would be no assassinations without Iran giving the green light,” he said.

Joe Biden’s “incompetence”

Donald Trump affirmed that Joe Biden’s “weakness and incompetence” provoked the Hamas attack against Israel and recalled that the Democrat announced last week an aid fund of $100 million in humanitarian assistance for more than 1 million displaced people in Gaza and West Bank.

The politician, who is the favorite in the Republican primary candidacy, stated that, if he reaches the White House in 2025, he will punish the Palestinian terrorists. He also warned that he will apply sanctions and US visa cancellations to Middle Eastern countries that support militants in the Gaza Strip.
