This Monday, October 30, the National Association of Actors (ANDA), reported through its social networks the death at the age of 94 of Fernando Almada, famous Mexican film actor.
“The National Association of Actors deeply regrets the death of our colleague Fernando Almada, a member of our union. Our condolences to his family, friends and colleagues. Rest in peace,” reads the ANDA Instagram account.
Mario Almada’s brother was the first to debut in Mexican cinema with the film “Milagros de San Martín de Porres”, at the end of the 1950s. Six years later, both consolidated themselves as Los Hermanos Almada, in the movie “The Witch Riders”.
The couple established themselves as one of the most popular in cinema during the 70s and 80s, even Fernando Almada ventured into this art as a director and screenwriter.
Mexican media report that the last appearance of the Mexican cinema icon was in 2020, through a post on social networks, where a photograph of the actor from films such as “Los Demonios del Desierto” and “Milagro en el Barrio” is seen.
