Being one of the most influential young artists in regional Mexican music today, Ángela Aguilar has stood out for actively spreading the tradition of the Day of the Dead through her art and using her social networks as a dissemination channel, with the aim of reach a much wider audience, since music plays a fundamental role in this celebration.

The daughter of Pepe Aguilar, for which the 20-year-old is also recognized, caused a sensation on social networks with a Catrina costume and makeup, writing in the caption of the publication “Ay, de me, llorona, llorona, llorona ”, unleashing admiration and many compliments among his followers, who commented the following: “the best voice of the century”, “if you were the crybaby instead of running, I would chase you”, “Of impact”.

Likewise, in her publication on the social network Instagram, the comments of support for the singer with Mexican roots were immediate with phrases such as “Mexican pride… it hurts whoever hurts”, “Absolutely the best, a divine voice”, “What a beautiful princess, God continues to bless you, beautiful”, and “Beautiful angelic voice, no one sings as beautifully as you, Ángela Aguilar”.

Mexico is a country of rich traditions and festivities, highlighting among them the Day of the Dead as one of the most emblematic of the Aztec region. The celebration that takes place every year between November 1 and 2 is a tribute to loved ones who have died and that makes clear the roots of Mexican culture. Beyond what some people think is a sad and melancholic festival, it is rather characterized by being a custom full of joy, color and, above all, a lot of music.

New Year, New Show, their plans for 2024

As published through their Instagram profiles, the Aguilar Dynasty announced its plans for the year 2024, in which Mariachi Pepe Aguilar, along with his children Angela and Leonardo, will tour the Aztec country with a “100% Mexican” show. ”, called “Jaripeo hasta los Huesos”, a production that alludes to the Day of the Dead tradition and was announced as follows:

“New year, new show, new production and new tour! This 2024 we premiere #JaripeoHastaLosHuesos! A new 100% Mexican show, thematic, inspired and framed in the traditional day of the dead, different and unique in its style. Don’t let death come first and buy your tickets this Friday, November 3.”
