The world of ice hockey is unknown to many, there are no known big stars of the sport and there is not much knowledge about its rules. But among all the contemporary players, the Slovenian Anze Kopitar stands out.
Recently a house in Manhattan Beach, California, which Kopitar has owned for nine years, has entered the real estate market.
One of the things that has drawn the most attention is its high cost of $37 million dollars, which also translates to $27 million dollars more than what he paid for the place in 2014.
The increase in its price is justified, since the athlete and his wife, Inés, decided to rebuild the entire place in 2018, for which they invested many thousands of dollars that they now hope to recover.
It should be noted that Kopitar is a two-time Stanley Cup champion and in 2016 it was reported that he had a salary of $6.8 million dollars.
Returning to the house for sale, it must be said that the place occupies a double lot located on a street that leads directly to the shore of the beach, a feature that will undoubtedly attract many.
The property is distributed in two large structures: a main house and a guest house. Between both homes there is a total of 7,600 square feet with seven bedrooms and 10 bathrooms.
Specifically, the main house has five of the seven bedrooms and seven of the 10 total bathrooms. Added to this is the lobby, living room, main room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room, wine cellar, gym, movie theater, office, elevator and other amenities.
The kitchen is luxurious with white cabinets, center island, marble countertops and high-end appliances. On the other hand, the lucky new owners will have a large room with a living room, a large dressing room, a spa-like bathroom and their own terrace overlooking the area.
Outside there is a terrace, bar, pool and enough space to share outdoors with family or friends.
One of the big additions of 2018 are solar panels and Tesla Powerwall equipment, for charging electric vehicles. According to records, the parking space has capacity for five vehicles.
