Actor Michael J. Fox almost lost a hand due to an infection, as he revealed in an interview with Town & Country magazine.

“My hand became infected and I almost lost it. It was a tsunami of misfortune,” she said following a serious injury to her arm, which led to an infection.

Fox also mentioned how dangerous Parkinson’s is, the incurable disease he suffers from, as it was the cause of severe falls several times. Therefore, he clarified that, although this evil was not directly a cause of death, it does entail too many risks.

“Falls are a major cause of death in Parkinson’s. Falling, breathing in food, or getting pneumonia are all subtle ways that affect you. You don’t die from Parkinson’s, you die with Parkinson’s, so I’ve been thinking about that and I’m not going to turn 80. I’m not going to turn 80,” he stressed.

However, he does not feel terrified by the idea of dying, because, although he does not like the possibility, he does not feel overwhelmed either.

“One day I will run out of gas. One day I’ll just say, ‘It’s not going to happen today, I’m not going out today.’ If that happens, I will allow it,” she shared in the talk.

“I am 62 years old. “If he passed away tomorrow, it would be premature, but it wouldn’t be unheard of, so no, I’m not afraid of that,” he added.
